70,11 Percents of Foreign Tourists Choose to Stay in Classified Hotels

Beritabali.com, Renon. Based on the results of the survey in May 2013 last month which conducted by Bank Indonesia showed that 70.11 percent of foreign tourists who visited Bali choose to stay in hotels.

Recorded only 10.81 per cent who choose to stay in unclassified hotels and 16.36 percent of them choose to stay in the villa.

Meanwhile the average length of stay of tourists in Bali has now increased to 8.55 days compared to last year which was only 7.67 days.

Head of Representative Office of Third Region of Bali and Nusa Tenggara Bank Indonesia, Dwi Pranoto by his statement in Renon deliver it is also revealed that 60.27 percent of tourists who come to Bali would prefer to travel to destinations that associated with nature and 30.15 percent prefer to the destination that related to cultural and historic sites.

Under such conditions, it is time to get the management of Bali tourism done in a whole management.

"Just to remind, everything is done with the strategy of 'one island management'. I think Bali tourism is increasingly advanced with an integrated point of view, by reducing the sense of ego and so on," said Dwi Pranoto.

Dwi Pranoto added, the survey also shows the purchasing power of tourists in Bali which also increased from an average of 144.4 U.S. dollars to 150 U.S. dollars per day. While based on the Bali Tourism Office during the first half of this year the number of tourists visiting Bali reached about 1.5 million tourists.
