Beritabali.com, Tabanan. Many Celebration held during Kuningan day. One of it is Mesuryak, that held in Banjar Bongan Gede, Pakraman Bongan Puseh, Bongan village, Tabanan Saturday (17/4).

According to the Bendesa (head of villagers) Banjar Adat Bongan Gede, I Nyoman Parwata said mesuryak tradition is one of heredity in his village.

"Mesuryak aimed to deliver the spirit of ancestors back to heaven. Because, previously, on Galungan day, ancestors were at home. Ten days after it, We deliver the ancestor back to heaven. Within delightnes, we're tossing money into the Air," he said.

The amount of money which was used depending on citizens economic ability.

The procession, begins approximately at 09.00 until 11.00 am. Starting with praying at home and to the temple.

After praying at the temple, people will bring banten or offerings to in front of their houses.

Furthermore, stakeholders will sing a chant, and closed it with Mesuryak. Each family provides money by coin or paper. Then, the money was thrown Into Air and people will try to grab it.

Men, Women, Children were scrambling to get the money.

"It was great and full of joyness during the mesuryak tradition," said I Ketut Srinata, one of villagers.

He also said that he already threw 1 million rupiah at this tradition.

"Essentially we delighted to deliver the ancestors spirits back to paradise within this tradition," he said.
