Beritabali.com, Karangasem. Rendang District in Karangasem, has many spiritual tourism potentials. One of them is GoaGala Gala. Gala Gala means protection, strength, and prosperity.

The cave which has a depth of about 25 meters is located in Langse Temple, on the edge of Telaga Waja River, Tenganan, Karangasem.

There is Tirta Pancaka inside the cave which serves as self-purification. On the wall of the cave, there is also a black ground powder that's believed to treat various diseases.

People belive that Pura Langse is the gate of "immaterial way" to Pura Dalem Puri Besakih. That's how this temple called Pura Langse which means gate. Others also a called it as Pura Telagawaja, because people who want to come to Besakih required to clean their sielf using Telagawaja springs in the temple area.

Once around 1957, Gala Gala Cave was first discovered by a farmer in an accident. Starting from a duck that he kept loose, so he chased the duck. Then the duck ran to a cave and followed by the farmer.

How surprised the farmer when entering the cave, he saw a pool of water that resembles a lake.

Until 2002, after getting "pawisik" or new guidance, people constructed the Gala Gala Temple.

Many people who come from outside Karangasem such as from Gianyar, Klungkung, Badung, Tabanan, would do "Nangkilang Hyang" (symbol of ancestors). Other also come just for Self-Purification or Melukat.
